Structural Integration( S.I.) is a body work modality that uses hands on manipulation, subtle energy work and Myofascial release to reduce pain and restore ease of movement. Each session is tailored to your horses unique needs.
Structural Integration addresses the whole horse and builds on their strengths while facilitating releases of tissue and emotional restrictions that may be hindering them.
Sessions also incorporate trust building, boundary setting and nervous system regulation. While not exactly "bodywork", these aspects are equally important in the healing process. A horse that feels safe and empowered in their body has a greater capacity for letting go of tension. Ashley has an intuitive and empathetic approach that will help unlock your horses “inner unicorn.”
This work is especially beneficial for horses with long term behavioral issues, intermittent lameness issues, and rehabilitation after injury.
You will often see longer lasting results when combined with Equine Chiropractic and a consistent exercise program.
